🧭 Who Are We

The Transnational Institute for Foundational Studies (TASIS) is an independent, non-profit think tank that reimagines human understanding by developing Foundational Sciences — disciplines that reorganize the relationship between the human being, knowledge, and systems.

TASIS is founded on the belief that today’s civilizational challenges cannot be solved using traditional tools, but require a methodology that starts from the human common ground and rebuilds systems based on the existential rights of the human being.

We believe that science should not reflect ideology or the market — but serve as a neutral tool to produce wisdom and build justice, whether in a state, an institution, or a civilization.

⚙️ Nature of the Institute

  • An independent, non-profit center registered in the European Union.
  • It operates under the umbrella of the Planning & Development Agency (PDA) while maintaining full academic, scientific, and administrative autonomy.
  • TASIS represents the intellectual and scientific branch of the agency, serving as the launching point of the Foundational Sciences Project to the international arena.
  • Open to academic collaboration with universities and think tanks across Europe and the world.

🌍 Areas of Work

TASIS operates across five main areas that connect theory and application:

  1. Foundational Methodologies – Including Takamolya Rationality, Foundational Epistemology, and Foundational Engineering.

  2. Research & Application – Generating studies and models across politics, education, and society.

  3. Academic Programs – Developing Master’s-level tracks, researcher training, and methodological curricula.

  4. Smart Platforms & Tools – Designing intelligent systems such as SmartGov, SmartSet, and SmartHub.

  5. Global Chair Initiative – Partnering with universities to institutionalize this new scientific field.
