TASIS – Center for Foundational Studies

Where Foundational Thinking Becomes Policy Tools

A Strategic Initiative by PDA

1. Who We Are

The TASIS.Center – center for foundational studies is an independent scientific and intellectual initiative launched by the Planning and Development Agency (PDA). It provides a structured space for foundational thinking, rigorous reasoning, and ethical innovation in governance, human development, and societal systems.

2. Our Vision

In a world facing conceptual fragmentation and systemic fatigue, we believe it is time to rethink how human life is understood and organized.
The Center promotes a unifying framework based on human reason, universal rights, and functional wisdom—enabling the design of just, rational, and sustainable systems.

3. What We Do

The Center designs and implements:

  • New academic models in foundational and applied sciences

  • Methodological frameworks for governance, economy, and education

  • Strategic collaborations with universities and think tanks

  • Applied research projects anchored in ethical and rational principles

All initiatives are grounded in interdisciplinary research and universal human values, bridging vision and design.

4. How We Work

Operating as both a digital and mobile platform, the Center maintains a presence in Lebanon and Europe.
It collaborates with academic institutions, civil society actors, and international networks to:

  • Launch experimental pilot projects

  • Co-design scalable models for system development

  • Promote integrative approaches to policy innovation

5. Join the Initiative

We invite universities, research centers, and strategic actors to co-shape this endeavor.
Together, we can establish a new foundation for meaningful scientific and policy engagement—across disciplines, sectors, and borders.

We do not add another voice to the discourse.
We reframe the ground on which the discourse stands.
